Getting The Message Across: Anti-Trump-Clinton Billboard On I-26 Getting Real Estate Traction

A billboard has been placed by a local real estate company which plays on the anti-Donald Trump, anti-Hillary Clinton mood of the country is working.

The message was posted by the realtor, Jeff Cook, on Monday – which marked Day One of the Republican National Convention – showing pictures of the presumptive party nominees.

The message on the billboard read: “Moving to Canada? We can sell your home.”

As Americans continue to be less eager about their ticket choices, as of Wednesday, up to three new clients went knocking on Cook’s door quoting the sign as the reason they believe his company should sell their property, he said.

“They’re ticked off about politics,” he said.

The sign is not unique to Charleston and most of his fellow real estate agent friends are doing the same thing elsewhere in other parts of the country, Cook claimed.

Cook also finds it hard to believe that anyone is basically putting their houses on the market with the sole aim of starting a new life or settling down.

However, he did say that he’s been receiving a lot of attention due to his billboard message
