Marijuana-Based Investment Fund in Canada

Canada has gotten on the recreational marijuana bandwagon. Green Acres Capital Fund is Canada’s very own marijuana-focused investment fund. This is a young fund; birthed this month. It already has $10M of the $30M goal.

The fund will be invested in 20 or so businesses with a buy-in of $100,000. Even though the recreational side of the business is lucrative, there is also the medicinal and pharmaceutical side should be the main focus.

CanniMed is now public since the end of December. The company’s line of products include concentrated marijuana oil and dried cannibis.

The recreational marijuana industry is already a billionaire dollar industry.
