Insolvencies For Consumer Surge By 2 Percent

Rendering to the latest numbers reported by the Superintendent of Bankruptcy, in the past twelve month following March this year, the number of consumers who are in debt has gone up by 2.2 per cent.

 

Insolvencies have gone down by 2 per cent, whereas, offers from consumers had gone up by 6.7 per cent during that same time.

 

During the month of February to March of this year, the insolvency rate of consumer had gone up by 19.5 per cent throughout Canada, with all the areas experiencing an increase, with Yukon leading the way in terms of percentage at 150 per cent, despite it being from 2 to 5 when measured numerically. In terms of volume, Ontario notices the most increase by 21.3 per cent increase to 650.
