Home Buyers Looking Forward To Vancouver, Toronto Bargain
The ever-present headline that mentions the increase of home prices in Vancouver and Toronto has not killed the spirits of those that are still planning to buy a decent looking house with a modest price.
A discovery was made by an analytic examination of home searches by real estate portal Point2 Homes, which found out that 47 percent of buyers in Toronto that are looking to purchase 3-bedroom homes, are faced with prices ranging from $300,000 to $500,000. The normal price for such houses during last month in the city was $710,410.
Back in Vancouver, the ones that were in search of the city’s listings were in need of 2-bedroom houses that were being sold for at least $750,000. However, the average price one could get for such houses was $1 million at the time the analysis was being done.
According to the data, it showed that the majority of those that were searching for houses were the younger generations who were looking forward to purchasing their home for the first time or perhaps move into a condo in the Toronto area. Women were the ones mostly looking to buy houses. Other results showed that those looking forward to purchasing homes were looking into areas like Saskatoon and Mississauga, who were hell-bent on spending more than the normal price of houses in the city.
