Another Housing Market Hits New Record In Sales

In the month of August, the sales of homes in southwest real estate market of Grey Bruce Owen Sound got a new record, after the real estate agents sold 358 housing units, with the percentage increasing by 36.6 percent over the years.

There was a change in the previous 350 record for the month, which took a different turn after an increase in the year-to-date by 18 percent to 2,087, making the year 2016 as the best year recorded in the market sales.

After the outrageous decline in active listings, which dropped by 40.2 percent over the year, and the new listings being down by 17.5 percent from last year August. The 360 member of the Realtors Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound were being stressed out due to the severe decrease. The average prices of home that were sold were at a new level, after the 9.4 percent increase to $266,804 from last year August.
