Awards Given For Alberta’s Best Homebuilders

There was an annual conference of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association that was recently held at Fairmount Jasper Park Lodge by the construction company, giving awards to its stars. The awards for the Builder of the Year consisted of four different categories in order to get the total score based on each category in the competition. The categories include customer satisfaction, safety, design, and volunteerism.

For the major home construction companies, community developers and renovators in Alberta, the housing awards were presented in 27 categories to them. The winners for the night were Ralph Scurfield who took the Builder of the Year award; Douglas Homes who won Medium Volume Builder of the Year; Urbanage Homes who got the Small Volume Builder of the Year and last but not the least, Qualico who was recognized as the Multi-family builder of the Year.

The CEO of CHBA in Alberta, Jim Rivait said: “Congratulations to the winners on being chosen as Alberta’s best from more than 380 entries. The winners excelled at providing a wide range of housing choices that appeal to all market segments, from affordable multi-family units to the ultimate dream home.”
