Wages To Be Stabilized By Next Year

The fate of Canada’s economy is uncertain, and as a result, the benchmark wage for an average Canadian will go up to 2.2 percent for employees that are non-unionized.

A sneak peak of the Compensation Planning Outlook for next year was released by the Conference Board of Canada, and it foretells that the largest increase will be in Manitoba. The percentage will go up to 2.7 percent, while in other places like Albertans, the increase will go up to an extra 1.4 percent.

Both BC and Quebec will have the increase go up to about 2.5 percent, Atlantic Canada has 1.9 percent, with Ontario and Saskatchewan having 2.4 percent.
