Pierre Karl Péladeau returning as Quebecor’s CEO.

After a foray into provincial politics, Pierre Karl Péladeau will once again run the media conglomerate Quebecor as he returns to his business roots.

Founded by her father, Paladeau had held the CEO position of the company for 14 years, prior to jumping into politics.
In a public statement on Thursday, the company announced that Paladeau will resume his role as President and CEO immediately.

Paladeau said he is very pleased to return to the helm of the company.
Pierre Dion, who had held the CEO and President position since April has been appointed as Chairman of Quebecor Media board and a director of Quebecor.
