Homebuyers Faced With Problems After Purchasing Their Homes

Homebuyers are likely to spend more on home repairs as a new poll revealed that owners have been absent minded on some vital factors when it comes to having their homes maintained or renovated. It was discovered by Allstate Canada that most of the homeowners want to have their homes renovated while 38 per cent are keeping an eye out for enhancing projects. They are turning a blind eye to the risks according to the insurance firm.

 

Regional Claims Director for Allstate Canada, André Parra said; “Picking out a wallpaper pattern is much more fun than having to remove it after-the-fact, so taking a step back to see if there are risks brewing under the surface and taking care of those first may help avoid a lot of headache and heartache.”

 

For those that intending on purchasing a home, they will have problems like water leaks, electrical wiring dangers and roof subversion can cost a lot for homebuyers and very inconvenient. A poll done by a quarter of the buyers mentioned that they had issues after purchasing a home, with most of them paying bills of about $1,500. Nearly a third of them said they would prefer to have things done differently if they are to buy a house again.
