What To Watch Out For in Canadian Business This Week

At the Global Petroleum Show to be held in Calgary, Alberta Premier Rachel Notley will be present as the keynote speaker at the event. Group leaders from the business world, the federal minister of finance, international trade and foreign affairs together with the CEO of Quebec pension fund manager Caisse de depot, Michael Sabia, the co-CEO of Power Corp, Paul Desmarais Jr. and the CEO of the National Bank, Louis Vachon will be present at the confab.

The annual meeting of Hudson’s Bay will be held in Toronto, this came in light of the department store giant (the oldest company in North America), which proclaimed about 2,000 downscales in response to few of the obstacles in the retail sector, most specifically the increase in virtual shopping.

During the course of this week, the Mayors of Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas will be in Montreal and Toronto to inspire prospects in tourism, trade and other business scenarios.
