Saskatoon Listing Records Slower Sales

The Saskatoon area has been experiencing a decrease of 14 per cent in their home sales during last month, unlike last year’s own and the year-to-date sales which has gone down by 7 per cent.

The Saskatoon Region Association of Realtors made it public that the number of units sold in November amounted to 243 units, with a collective sales of 3,489 for the past eleven months. The figures held up however, with the benchmark of $350,000 practically the same from the previous year.

Jason Yochim, CEO along with the Saskatoon Region Association of Realtors mentioned that; “An increase in sales in the higher end homes has helped to support the average price in the Saskatoon market.” Regardless of the dip in listings, there were seven months in which homes were vacant and accessible at that present sales pace.
