Supply In Vancouver’s Industrial Sector Tightens

The movie industry in Vancouver seems to be picking up pace, because of that; companies that are looking for an industrial real estate in the area are finding it difficult as the supply tightens. The increase of movie producers in Metro Vancouver has caused the severe interest of industrial units.

Close to million square feet of rented industrial space has been taken up by the industry in the previous year. The major congestion occurring now is in the market sector for building structure with ceilings that are high and has enormous footprints, which is widely held with the industrial allocation segment.

Andrew Lord who works with Colliers Vancouver told a news reporting company; “the film industry is targeting the same types of buildings because they want to have large, expansive areas where they can have big sets and also have a lot of ceiling height.”
