BCH-Powered Micro-Site Builder For Crowdfunding Launched By Akari

The Akari Global Foundation is a renown group in the crypto sphere, as news.Bitcoin.com had already reported on them sometimes in May. It is said of the group that they aim to bolster bitcoin cash (BCH) adoption via its services.

Recently, there has been a lot of development in the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) network’s infrastructures. The Akari Global Foundation announced on July 7, 201 the launch of a new service: Akari-Pages. It is a free self-hosted bitcoin cash fundraiser micro-site creator. The pages can be easily set up and customized. They also allow micro-funding using BCH, open-ended campaigns, goal levels, and progress percentages. The service is free, no fees and the protocol is open source.

Akari states that “Now it is even easier to begin a Bitcoin Cash micro-crowd-fundraiser thanks to the Akari-Pages Builder (APB), a new tool that makes editing the microsite configuration files a snap.”

Akari says that this new functionality, which includes a fundraising platform without any middlemen, payments. Donations are direct. Everything is customizable. A video, detailing how users can create a custom mini-site for fundraising, has been released by Akari. People are the possibility to see all the APB fundraisers at bitfund.cash. The site updates each time a page is added by someone. The Akari-Pay service has been modified and now has more features that help enhance Akari-Pages.

Akari explains, “We’ve made some enhancements to Akari-Pay too included in the bundle, now you can set all the details of your fundraising page, change the colors, add logos and banners, include links, add extra Imgur links, set goal-levels and set goal amounts, see live progress bars, set your bitcoin cash wallet receiving address.”

A similar application to Akari-Pages was launched just before Akari’s. the application is called Lighthouse.cash. the project was originally created by Mike Hearn. He stopped developing the idea, which was later picked by an anonymous developer, who resurrected the project and poted it over from BTC to work with bitcoin cash.
