Cryptocurrency Market Sustain Momentum Regardless Of Slight Recovery

The cryptocurrency market has been able to maintain its positive momentum over the past few days as most of the coins maintain their double-digit gains. Notably, altcoins performed individually from the bitcoin price, with most performing well better compared to the largest cryptocurrency by market cap.

At the time of writing, BTC was trading at around $6,350 after shortly crossing the $6,600 region before dropping again. Ethereum went back to the $300 level.

From the look of things, the worst performers were bitcoin cash which made a slight increase of 5 percent to trade at $510 after hitting $530. Ripple also made a slight recovery with a 12 percent increase and was trading at $0.288 on Bitfinex even though it had hit the $0.30 region previously.

EOS also experienced a slight increase of about 8 percent trading at around $4.70, while stellar was trading at around $0.22, a slight four percent increase which was lower than the rest of the market’s performance. Litecoin also increased by 8 percent, trading once again at the $56 region but is still unable to recover the significant losses it made in the past days.

NEO and ethereum classic recorded impressive increases of more than 15 percent each.

Compared to other currencies, Cardano’s performance was quite sluggish with a slight increase of 5 percent to trade around $0.095.
