Wannabe Real Estate Agents Provided With New Education

A new consortium is set to start teaching individuals seeking to be real estate agents in Ontario and offer them registration teaching starting from the year 2019.

An announcement by the Real Estate Council of Ontario unveiled that Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning and NIIT Canada will be the one offering the training to the aspiring students from July 2019.

Those that will be registering or signing up for the training in the time being will be equipped by the existing provider, the Real Estate College of OREA.

RECO Registrar Joseph Richer said; “We’re pleased to announce that the New Program will be developed by this partnership of two innovative leaders in professional education. The New Program will bring together the best in local real estate knowledge and education delivery, and leading edge expertise in program development. It will help ensure that students are practice-ready when they begin their real estate careers.”

In-class courses will be offer as part of the New Program, in real-time computer-generated classrooms. The courses will be covered through self-pace e-learning component to more than 12,000 students every year.
