Increase In Windsor-Essex Home Sales In 2016

Compared to the sales activity in 2015, 2016 turned out to be a good and productive year for Windsor-Essex County, as they experienced an increase of 10.4 per cent in the sales of homes, and the year ending off with a strong year-over-year gain.

In the year 2016, the sales figure steadily went up through the year and ended off in December with an 18.73 per cent increase. The Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors said the sales activity was still favorable despite the 4.7 per cent fall in December.

Through the year 2016, the prices went, with a gain of 8.49 per cent in December which amounted to an average of $220,053, whereas the annual prices has a gain of approximately 12 per cent.
