Ethereum is Being Used by the World’s Largest Brewer to Monitor Ad Data

Along with the assistance of Blockchain technology, Brewing giant Anheuser-Buch InBev is striving to shake up digital marketing supply chain. The world’s largest brewer has introduced its 1st ad promotions through the Kiip mobile marketing app, which utilizes ethereum’s blockchain to document and monitor data.  The objective is to keep track of and, at some point, broaden the reach of a specific ad, according to a press release.

The campaign, which began about two weeks ago, has highlighted five of AB InBev’s most well-known brands, such as Budweiser, Michelob Ultra, Bud Light, Limeatria, and Estrellas.

The campaign is developed around Kiip’s recent blockchain product, which is developed to improve openness and deal with problems like mobile ad fraud by keeping the campaign data bank accessible to all participants in mobile ad sales.

Various metrics – such as opinions, engagement, and price – are protected on the ethereum blockchain, and AB InBev can monitor these ad activities every hour. This strategy minimizes the timeframe that the campaign’s coordinators invest in monitoring the metrics. At the same time, the ad customers can pay only for the ads that meet up with their requirements.

The new ad system is only AB InBev’s most recent move into the crypto space. The Belgium-based behemoth became a member of a consortium to experiment with the blockchain technology for worldwide shipping functions in March, as earlier reported by CoinDesk.
